Not a vast amount has happened in the last week, but I have been doing a bit of online location scouting, and, without wanting to completely reveal my address to the internet at large, here's what I've come up with.
MALHAM COVE
Malham cove is what's known as a limestone pavement, because it's a pavement made of limestone. And it looks awesome. This clifftop site will make a great prehistoric location, although I'll need to use some CGI wizardry to remove any signs of modern life from the view.

GORDALE SCAR
Another prehistoric location near to Malham cove. This site features a waterfall and dramatic cliffs. Again some CGI will be needed to cover up human activity. There is also a fairly extensive moor at the top of the rocky climb that makes a pretty good boulder-strewn wasteland.
These are the two main locations we'll be using. The rest will be filmed in more local areas of woodland that we've used before since that's easier than having to transport lots of film equipment out to various far off places.

PRIMEVAL QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
"Wait, something's wrong! This isn't right... something's happened. Something's changed."
